Last week we went to Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Torrance Beach and etc.. with my whole extended family. We had so
much fun. I really didn't want to come home. Although I think Derek was ready to get back to cooler weather back home. See, Derek's dream trip is somewhere in the
mountains and I am a total beach girl. But he really loved California.
It was his very first time in the Pacific Ocean! Here are some of my
very favorite moments....
On Monday we spent the day swimming in the the ocean. It was a blast and we had some awesome sunburns to show off for the rest of the week;)

My Sister got engaged!!!! Derek and I along with the rest of my cousins helped Jason propose to Kara. It was a beautiful proposal!!!! We couldn't be happier to have him in our family! I'm so excited to start helping her plan the wedding! Yay!

On Wednesday we went to Knott's Berry Farm. Yes, we wore tie-dye as a group. Yes, you should be jealous. It was quite embarrassing... I mean awesome!

Kade had the most horrible sunburn. He pretty much looked like a drug addict running around the park trying to soothe his itchy skin!

Derek got to the point where he asked me to stop peddling ha ha. I wasn't going to complain.
It was such a cool area. There were parties going on all over the beaches. Music playing and volleyball games happening everywhere you looked!
Then we ran into the the TV show 90210. It was really cool. It made me miss the production element of TV. I love that kind of stuff. We hung around for a little while watching. It took over 100 people, 5 semis filled with equipment and a huge light fixture attached to a semi just to film this one scene. Crazy!

On Saturday we woke up early and got our shop on at the Swamp Meet. It was glorious. I was too busy checking out the different vendors to take any pictures.
We can't wait for next year's family trip!!!
